AFFECTING ATM and EVERYDAY DEBIT CARD TRANSACTION

Banking is a business of relationships – and we appreciate being your financial partner. In 2010, we included inserts in your monthly statements outlining changes to our overdraft service practices, including Overdraft Honor. Copies of these inserts can be found on this page for your review. As a valued customer, we wanted to inform you how these changes could affect your account when there is an overdraft caused by an ATM or everyday debit card transaction (like paying for groceries, dry cleaning, and gasoline).

Currently, we may authorize and pay overdrafts on your checks, ACH, and online transactions. However, since August 15, 2010, Federal regulation prevents us from continuing to pay overdrafts caused by ATM and everyday debit card transactions unless you have authorized us to continue to consider paying these transactions. If you want to authorize us to consider paying ATM and everyday debit card transactions that overdraw your account, and you have not already authorized us to do so, please use one of the following methods:

We pay overdrafts at our discretion. This means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction.
