Portfolio Management Team

WesBanco Trust and Investment Services takes great pride in the fact that four of our seven Investment Advisors are Chartered Financial Analysts.

First awarded in 1963, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter has become known as the gold standard of professional credentials within the global investment community. Around the world, investors recognize the CFA designation as the definitive standard for measuring competence and integrity in the fields of portfolio management and investment analysis. Because of the rigor of the program, only about one in five candidates who enter the program pass all three exams and successfully complete all the requirements to earn the charter.

The Business of Investment Management
Managing equity portfolios, which are diverse across many sectors of the economy, can be complex. Utilizing a team approach, WesBanco allows the individual portfolio managers to specialize in sectors of the economy and maintain broad market expertise.

The Investment Review Meeting provides a forum for Relationship Managers and Trust Officers to meet with other members of the Portfolio Management Team. These meetings give the entire team an opportunity to listen, ask questions and position themselves to understand decisions being made on individual portfolios.

Utilizing an independent provider of performance measurement allows the client to track the performance of their portfolio against appropriate benchmarks and truly gauge the effectiveness of the manager. Investment review reports are available on an annual, semi-annual, quarterly or monthly basis.
