Pay someone via text or email using your WesBanco mobile app or online banking

Pay Someone is a quick and easy way to send or receive money from your family and friends. Our service gives you the ability to send money to a person by simply using their mobile number or email address.

Simply follow these steps:

  • Open the WesBanco app and click Pay Someone (located under the “More” tab). If you’re using online banking, simply click Pay Someone (located under the “Accounts” tab).
  • Enter the recipient’s mobile number or email address and details about the payment
  • Click Send
  • Recipient gets a text or email with a link to receive funds

Send money fast

Recipients will simply click on the link and provide a few pieces of information to receive the funds. If the recipient uses their bank’s debit card, the money will be deposited into their account within minutes, yes minutes! If the recipient uses their bank’s routing and account number, they will receive the funds in as quick as 2-3 days.
