WesBanco is proud to announce that Jodi Kruse, SVP, Learning & Development Experience Manager has been named a 2025 Emerging Leader by the American Bankers Association (ABA). This award recognizes the next generation of bank leaders who are committed to the highest standards of achievement and service to both their industry and local communities.

Jodi embodies the qualities of a future-focused leader – she is strategic, conscientious, and consistently achieves impressive results while always leading with integrity,” said Kim Griffith, Sr. EVP, HR Group Head. “She is an indispensable leader who consistently elevates those around her. We applaud Jodi on receiving this well-deserved recognition.”

ABA selected the winners by a steering committee of industry professionals after a review of nominations from across the country. The qualities and characteristics the committee evaluated as judging criteria included dedication to the profession, inventiveness, leadership skills, mentoring ability, personal integrity, tenure at the bank and broader commitment to a career in banking, sustained career progress and academic training, including advanced degrees and certificates/certifications.

Jodi and the ABA’s Emerging Leader Class of 2025 were recently honored at the association’s annual convention held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
