Your Deposit Options

• Mobile Deposit Anytime

  Deposit checks to your WesBanco account using your mobile device! Open your WesBanco Mobile App and follow the easy-to-understand instructions that appear on the screen of your device to deposit your check – it’s that fast and that easy!

  Please endorse the back of each check with:

  1. For Mobile Deposit Only
  2. The last four digits of your WesBanco account #
  3. Your signature

  Sign into the WesBanco Mobile app and tap “Deposit” at the bottom of the WesBanco Mobile App homescreen.

  1. Review the customer Notice screen for details related to Mobile Deposit and select “Continue”.
  2. Tap “Deposit a Check” button at the top.
  3. Select the account where you’d like to deposit the check
  4. Take a picture of the front AND back of the check
  5. Enter the amount of the check and select “Continue”.
  6. Tap “Approve” to approve the deposit.
  7. An email receipt will be emailed to your email address that is one file.

• Deposit Anytime ATM

  WesBanco ATMs are now deposit taking — anytime day or night.  Simply select “Deposit” from the main screen.  You can deposit cash or checks — no envelopes or deposit slips needed.  You can even capture images of the checks you deposited on your receipt.

  Locate a WesBanco ATM with our locator tool. Be sure to use the search filters to check for Deposit Accepting ATMs.

  Keep in mind, our partnership with the Allpoint Network provides access to over 55,000 ATMs nationwide — these ATMs usually do not accept deposits.

  1. Insert your card and enter your PIN.
  2. Choose the “Deposit” option.
  3. Select which account you’d like the money to go to
  4. Confirm the dollar amount you see on screen.
  5. Answer any remaining questions, take your receipt and make sure you have your debit card before walking or driving away.

   

• Direct Deposit Anytime

  Safely deposit your pay from your employer directly to your WesBanco checking account. You can even set a portion of your pay to be deposited into your savings account so you are automatically saving each month.

  If you’re looking to set up direct deposit for checks issued by your employer, you can:

  • Check with your employer’s payroll office to check their preferred way to set up direct deposit.
  • You can download this Direct Deposit Authorization form and give it to your employer’s payroll or HR contact.

  If you’re looking to enroll in direct deposit for checks issued by the U.S. Treasury (Social Security), you can:

  • Visit www.fiscal.treasury.gov/GoDirect
  • Call the U.S. Treasury at 1-877-874-6347

  Be sure to locate your account number and routing number as these will be needed to set up direct deposit. You can find these via WesBanco Online Banking, WesBanco Checks or contact us directly.
